Memorial Day Weekend 2012

Ahh, what a holiday it's been. Such a fantastic culmination of events in 3 short days.

Saturday started rainy & wet but Kelsey & Casey were given a small, perfectly timed break in the weather to have their wedding ceremony outside as they had wished for. The reception party was in full swing by 2:00 PM; Ariya was home napping away and around 4:00pm, we snuck away to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary.

Sunday started early for daddy, 8:00 AM tee time in Hudson, WI. Mommy & Ari got to snuggle, be lazy and play all morning long. After nap-time, we hopped in the car to journey over the river to Woodbury to spend an evening with Naomi, Jason & Jonah. The hosted a great BBQ, complete with kiddie pool for the kids. Ariya & Jonah had a blast playing in the water and are becoming very good friends.

Catching up - May 2012

Well who knew that the 5th month of 2012 would fly by so quickly!? Not this gal - that's for sure.

Let's see - Jamie had a birthday on May 3rd, Miranda got a sassy new look on May 5th, and Ariya continues to dominate in her adorable fashion.

New tricks: Counting to 10 in Spanish, being very clear on what she'd like to do (play with the computer, go for a little walk, what she'd like to eat) and has a ton of things to tell you about if you ask her.

Grandma & Grandpa Rasmussen are home for the summer and Ariya can hardly believe that they are here in MN for real. We are looking forward to a very exciting Memorial Day weekend. With Kelsey & Casey's wedding on Saturday and Jamie & Miranda's anniversary that day as well (May 26th - 2 years!) it's going to be a blast.
